2024 Annual Meeting comments

The 2024 Spring Hill annual meeting on 11/19/24 was well attended by homeowners along with special guest speakers Bob DeHoff with DeHoff Realtors, also Valerie Carr, and Bryce Zimmerman with Green City Services. Nominations were taken for the Vice President position; Kevin Tremmel, Secretary; Emma Bailey, ARC: Mark Trew and Jennifer Piatt.  Open conversations with the Homeonwers and HOA Board regarding the raised safety concerns of Excessive Speeding and Parking on both sides of the curved hill areas of Kenway and Springbury were held.  Please refer to the attached Meeting Minutes and Power Point presentation files for more details.

Spring Hill HOA Annual Meeting for 2024

Annual meeting with the Spring Hill HOA Board and Homeowners
When: November 19th, 2024
Location: John Torok Community Center, 4224 Massillon Road Green, OH 44720

Meeting Agenda & Times proposed: 7 to 8:50 PM
7 to 7:50 PM – Greetings and Introductions of guest speakers: (15 to 20 minutes each)
+ Dehoff Development to discuss 2025 plans for Phase 5 and 6, address questions.
+ City Services to discuss the new Street Trees and Sidewalk replacement project, address questions.

HOA Business Agenda:
7:50 PM – Annual HOA activity / projects summary, and budget report 2024 & projected 2025
8 PM – Discuss the HOA open board positions for 2025 and take nominations or interests.
+ Vice President: Act with (or stead of) the President on Board issues and projects.
+ Secretary: Keep minutes of meetings and activities, HOA communications, Newsletter.
+ Architecture Review Committee (2) Homeowner requests for property modifications.
+ New committee plans: Help with front entranceway & neighborhood social activities.

8:15 to 8:45 PM – Homeowners and Board discussions on raised safety concerns for 2025:
+ Kenway and Springbury curve hill areas; to implement street parking restrictions for safety and traffic concerns?
+ Excessive Speeding: Work with the City and Sheriff offices on options to stop excessive speeding; installing speed reducing humps or other options?

Place: John Torok Community & Senior Center, 4224 Massillon Rd.
Purpose: To elect individuals to the Board of Directors and to present reports from the President, Treasurer, Architectural Review Committee and to discuss projects completed in 2023 and plans for 2024.

In accordance with the Spring Hill Neighborhood Association, Inc.’s Bylaws, the annual
meeting of the association will be held:

Time: 7:00 p.m.
Place: John Torok Community & Senior Center, 4224 Massillon Rd, North Canton, OH 44720
Purpose: To present reports from the Treasurer, Architectural Review Committee and to discuss projects completed in 2022 and plans for 2023.


NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL MEETING

In accordance with the Spring Hill Neighborhood Association, Inc.’s Bylaws, the annual
meeting of the association will be held:

Date: September 16, 2021
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Place: Virtual – See http://springhillhoa.net for Online Meeting Link
Purpose: To elect 5 individuals to serve on the association’s Board of Directors


There are 5 board member positions up for election at this time. Each position is for a
term of 2 years. At the meeting, the board will provide a status report on matters of
general interest as part of a standard agenda before moving into the election
procedures.

The Spring Hill Neighborhood Association, Inc.’s Bylaws require a Board to consist of
no less than 5 members. If the requisite number of 5 Board members is not filled
through nominations and voting, the HOA will be turned over to a receivership
with all costs to fulfill that role spread evenly and paid by all residents of Spring
Hill.


Your board of directors urges you to attend this meeting to nominate and elect members
to the board.
