Neighborhood News and Notes

SPRING CLEANUP
A big “thank you” to those who joined us for our spring cleanup/planting. It was great to meet new neighbors and enjoy a rare sunny day! Special mention goes to Jackie Mihelich for selecting the flowers, as well as Toni Haneberg for organizing the event.

LONG GRASS
We have received numerous inquiries regarding the unmowed lots throughout Spring Hill. The board is working with DeHoff to resolve the issue. DeHoff said the wet spring weather has prevented machinery from getting on these muddy lots. Once it dries out, the lots will be cut and maintained regularly.

UPKEEP REMINDER
A reminder regarding lot upkeep for residents — We have received numerous complaints about unkempt/unmowed yards, and ask that lawns are mowed regularly, per regulations. Another issue that has come up involves trash cans, which are required to be stored out of view from the road except on pickup day. Please keep your trash cans in the garage, or behind a fence/landscaping away from street view.

NEXT MEETING
Our next public HOA meeting will be held Wednesday, June 29th at 7:00pm at the Torok Center, 4224 Massillon Road (next to Green Central Fire Station #1).

SUMMER SAFETY
With all the construction, we are experiencing an increase in neighborhood traffic. Combined with summer vacation for our kids, we ask everyone to help police and maintain safe, SLOW driving in the neighborhood. Recently, one of our neighbors lost a family pet to a reckless, speeding driver in Spring Hill. This is unacceptable. Please maintain a slow pace when driving through the neighborhood, and please report speedy drivers (i.e., vendors, visitors, neighbors) to your HOA board-member. Let’s all keep our eyes open for this and other suspicious activities in our neighborhood.
