The following plans will be presented by DeHoff Development and reviewed at an upcoming City of Green Planning & Zoning meeting on August 18th. DeHoff’s plan would require a portion of the undeveloped land to be rezoned from B2 to R2.
In both DeHoff proposals, the ~70 acres of land north of Spring Hill will be developed with a mix of business/commercial and multi-family (apartment) housing. The only difference between Plans A & B is the potential to connect Brigantine Ave to the rest of the new streets that are slated to start construction very soon. The planned multi-family development would happen in the shaded areas of blocks A & B.
In both plans, Kenway Blvd will be connected to Southwood and Fortuna. An additional 6-8 single family lots would be added to the top of Brigantine Ave as indicated in the drawings.
The City of Green’s plan for the same undeveloped land would include the connections to Kenway Blvd and Brigantine Ave, but would include ONLY business/commercial development per the current zoning of B2.
Residents with questions/concerns about the proposed development can contact DeHoff Development at (330) 499-8153.
