Letters/Invoices for the 2015 annual assessments will be distributed this week via USPS…

• $150/lot/residence
• Due April 15, 2015 (to avoid late penalties)
• Per HOA Guidelines/Restrictions (all phases), any payment not received within 30 days of receiving the invoice is subject to an additional $10 penalty for every 30 days of delinquency
• All outstanding dues, as of June 30, 2015, will be turned over the HOA’s law firm for collection

The work to correct the entry lighting is ongoing and can be seen with the large construction areas that have been taped off across two lots on Springbury. As of 3 weeks ago, the root cause of the outage was identified to be several breaks in the main line feeding the entrance. In order to totally fix the problem, the electrical contractor, Ohio Edison, an excavator, etc. all have to coordinate, and that is all weather dependent.

While we do not have an estimated date for the completion of the work, we are getting regular updates from the electrical contractor and will pass on more information as it’s known.

Our current contract with The Brothers Grimm Landscape & Design expires on 12/31/2014. We entered into a 2 year contract with them in the spring of 2012 to provide mowing, trimming, and landscaping to the common areas at the entrance to the development, as well as down both sides of Boettler Road (along the white vinyl fencing).

With the current contract expiring for the upcoming 2015 season, the HOA Board will be accepting bids for a new 2 year contract. In addition to The Brothers Grimm Landscape & Design, the Board will also be sending out a Request for Proposal (RFP) to local landscaping companies in the area. If you have had a good experience with a landscaping provider, and would like to include them in the RFP process, please send their information – Company Name, Contact Name, phone number/email address – to the Board by using the Contact HOA Board form at the link near the top of the page.

As previously announced, the HOA Board sponsored a Holiday Decorating Contest this season. Judging took place on December 22nd, and this year’s winners are…

• 3rd Place – 891 Somerby Circle

The awards for all winners will be distributed by the end of this week. If you haven’t already, take a drive (or walk) around the neighborhood to check out everyone who put in the time and effort to decorate their homes for this holiday season.

The HOA Board will be sponsoring a Holiday Decorating contest this year. Judging and awarding of prizes will take place in the evening on December 22nd. Gift cards will be provided to the winners, who will be contacted by the Board – no personal information will be posted on our website and/or Facebook page.
