When the swell is pumping a couple feet overhead, you need a serious surf leash that will keep you tethered to your board in powerful waves. Dakine was founded with the goal of meeting this challenge, and it builds on this legacy with the six-foot-long Kainui with Easy Clip quick release. This high-quality, 5/16-inch (8mm) urethane Dura-Cord leash features a beefy 2-inch (50mm) molded neoprene ankle cuff and a wide 1.5-inch (40mm) detachable railsaver. For added safety, our new Easy Clip quick release with tether allows you to detach the leash from your board in the event it gets hung up on reef, rock or kelp. A tried-and-true blend of performance and safety, the Kainui surf leash is offered in 6-, 7-, 8-, 9- and 10-foot lengths.
